Peter Thompson is a passionate teacher and a Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government, ANZSOG www.anzsog.edu.au

The school was set up in 2002 as a partnership between the commonwealth, state and territories of Australia and the New Zealand government and 16 universities throughout the two countries.

Peter leads the school’s Managing Public Communication program, a two day intensive executive workshop which focuses on strategic communication, digital and social media, crisis and risk communication, community engagement, communicating political or adaptive change and behavioural change.

He contributes to the school’s annual Executive Fellows Program; Applied Learning Program; and Professor Malcolm Sparrow’s Managing Regulation, Enforcement and Compliance.

Peter is also regularly invited to be a guest teacher at the New South Wales Police’s Strategic Leadership Program and at other tailored teaching programs such as by the commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.

Peter is also an adjunct professor at the Department of International Communication at Macquarie University.
